Positions Currently Open:
Accountant
This position will come with a minimum of one year on the job training

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Process and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Administer payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Manage retirement and benefits administration
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning and analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Assist with audits and provide required documentation
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
- Maintain internal controls and audit
- Advising the General Manager/CEO and Board of Directors on financial strategies, investments and risk mitigation
- Manage capital budgets for distribution improvements
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Prior accounting experience preferred (utility or cooperative experience is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
